De Gustibus Cooking School (FL 8)

A unique favorite of the flagship, De Gustibus Cooking School by Miele has hosted over 1,300 of the world’s greatest chefs over the past 37 years, providing high quality experiences in all things culinary. The school offers chef demonstration classes, hands-on cooking classes, private events, and an opportunity to be up close and personal with the most celebrated chefs and sommeliers in the industry. De Gustibus’ space within Macy’s Herald Square accommodates up to 60 people.

Opening the day after Thanksgiving, Macy’s Santaland transports the young and young-at-heart into a fantasy world of glittering pine trees, snow-capped mountains, twinkling lights, cuddly animals, and gingerbread cookies. Located on the 8th floor of the iconic flagship store, this 13,000 square foot Christmas Village is filled with holiday treasures, taking customers from around the world on a special visit with the one and only Santa Claus.

With collections of holiday décor in every shape, style and fashion, each shopper will find the perfect embellishment for their home. This magical wonderland is comprised of twinkling lights, glittering bulbs, and decadence galore with themed rooms decked in holiday colors and décor. This treasured holiday experience is a favorite of New Yorkers and draws visitors from all over the world.

Macy’s Flower Show (Main Floor)

Macy’s Flower Show has delighted generations of floral aficionados with spectacular gardens filled with millions of live flowers, plants and trees from around the world. The show offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enjoy these magnificent blossoms in an unexpected setting. In what has become a cherished tradition for many, during Macy’s Flower Show, the flagship invites visitors to take part in flower demonstrations, marvel at breathtaking floral scenes, and take advantage of free tours for two weeks in early spring.
